Induction Training

Once your assessment is complete and you are approved to foster, you will begin our Induction training. Our induction training is designed to support you in understanding your new role. 

Our induction teaches you things such as emergency procedures, record keeping, Safe Care, safeguarding and what meetings to expect (to name a few). We offer workshops to new foster parents to equip them with practical skills as well as clear advice and guidance on how to meet the requirements of you as a new foster parent (such as keeping diary recordings, attending meetings, reporting concerns etc). Within your induction, you will complete some online training courses alongside some face-to-face courses.
