Therapeutic support for all!
We believe that children who have suffered trauma should be cared for properly. Research tells us that Therapeutic Parenting supports trauma recovery for children and young people therefore our agency is committed to embracing an ethos of therapeutic parenting.
Direct support for your family
All of our foster parents are supported and supervised by one of our friendly, knowledgeable and approachable team. As our team all have firsthand experience of fostering, alongside professional experience, we have a unique insight into the role which means we can relate to you and empathise with how you may be feeling.
24/7 support
You’re never alone! If you have an emergency at 2am in the morning, fear not, our team are still on hand to support you! We offer a 24/7 service which means that one of our small, highly skilled team will be available to you no matter what time of day or night.
Personal and professional experience
One of our unique qualities is that we have both personal and professional experience of fostering. We find this really supports us in being able to offer the best level of support to our foster parents.
Our therapeutic community
Our agency is more than just an agency, it’s a therapeutic community. With each new family that joins us, our community grows. Our community is one that values kindness, mutual support and respect.
Events and Activities
The part of our job that we love the most is truly getting to know you, your family and the children you care for. The best way to do that is for us to spend time together having fun!
Monthly team meetings
Every month we invite all of our foster parents to join us for a Team Meeting. We view our foster parents as integral parts of our professional team; therefore, we treat them as such! That means valuing their time and their input.
Full training
Training is key! Many people come into fostering without any prior knowledge of the role so it’s important we offer training right from the start. You do not need any formal qualifications to join our team; all that we ask is that you are open to learning and open to developing on your skills and experience.
